FAQs
Q: What ingredients do you use in your soaps?
A: Our soaps are traditionally made with natural oils, butters, clays and botanicals. They also include lard or tallow, which add wonderful creaminess and moisture. Life on the reservation taught us to waste nothing. We use these ingredients out of respect and sustainability- honoring the animal by putting every part to good use. We are a 100% Palm Oil Free Company
Q: Are your soaps good for sensitive skin?
A: Yes! Our soaps are formulated to be gentle and nourishing. Every batch goes through a full cure, creating a mild and creamy bar. We offer 100% fragrance free varieties if you are extra sensitive.
Q: How long does each bar last?
A: Allowing your soap to "breathe" can help your soaps last a month (or more!). A soap tray or dish with drainage is really beneficial to handmade bars.
Q. Do you make custom or bulk orders?
A: I love creating custom blends for weddings, baby showers, and special occasions. Feel free to email me at kojissoap@gmail.com and we'll bring your vision to life!
Q: Where can I learn more?
A: I write a newsletter, The Handmade Economy, on substack! There you'll learn about different facets of the small business world, and I go deeper into the science behind soapmaking. Give it a read: Handmade Economy on Substack
